Among the world's top artists, Bruce Beasley is now working in the medium of cast and welded bronze. His piercing, thrusting, precipitously poised sculptures can be described as abstruse quantum mechanics. Beasley flings his visionary line into space and the trapezoids and globes and cubes appear to coalesce around it in defiance of gravity, as along a magnetic pole spanning space. Using chemical patinas, he gives bronze the appearance of molten magma from the earth's core, cooled and crystallized.

Beasley is collected in the Museum of Modern Art New York, The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York. and the Musee d'Art Moderne, Paris France.
